Honor Launches New Logo To Celebrate Fifth Anniversary

by December 12, 2018

Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new logo to celebrate its fifth anniversary. During the Honor Artology event, the Chinese brand unveiled the logo to celebrate the success attained by it in the first five years of its history. It marks the graduation of Honor from being a simple online sub-brand of Huawei to a well-established producer which is popular among the young generations. The new logo is unveiled with a purpose of achieving more in the near future.

If you observe the details, the logo is a simple one which highlights the name “Honor”. The small letter in the logo have given way to  capital letters. The colours have also changed. The previous monochromatic shade is no longer there. It has given way to a gradient that goes from fuchsia to blue. This is probably an indicator of its willingness to come across as a popular young brand.

This logo will start appearing in the devices that the brand will launch in the new year. The new Honor V20 is expected to debut on December 26th and should carry the new “Honor” logo in all likelihood.

The Honor V20 will be the first ever smartphone to have a 48MP camera. The phone will be the first to also feature Huawei’s new tech, Link Turbo. The 48MP camera sensor is a Sony IMX586 sensor. It measures 1/2 inch, supports four-pixel integration (0.8μm synthesis 1.6μm) and 4x hardware HDR enhancement. The Link Turbo is a full-network aggregation technology which is designed to intelligently detect network congestion, and simultaneously use or switch Wi-Fi/4G networks to ensure continuous network. The V20 will also use a glamorous full-screen with a punch-hole display camera located at the top left corner of the display.
