In the advancing IFA 2020, Chinese tech mogul Honor has introduced GS Pro and ES smartwatch models. Both the models are targeted towards a different audience. Honor Watch GS Pro is for adventurers and comes in a very rugged look. Whereas Honor Watch ES is more of a fitness tracker bundled in smartwatch design.

Both smart wearables are capable of tracking a wide range of physical activities. Honor Watch GS Pro comes in a robust design and will also offer a better battery. The ES model features an elegant display with customizable watch faces.

Honor Watch GS Pro: Key specs and features

With a screen resolution of 454*454 pixels, GS Pro comes with a 1.39” circular dial on an AMOLED panel. The smartwatch will also come with the 14MIL-STD-810G certificate that will make it completely resistant from any thermal damage, shock, and water. With the stainless steel bezels and silicon strap, GS Pro has a polycarbonate build.

Kirin A1 powers the wearable, and on the battery-saver mode, Honor claims that it will last up to 25 days. For the adventurers out there, GS Pro will feature bad weather alert, tide alerts, snowboard tracking, skiing & hiking navigation, etc. Not only this, but the smartwatch will also offer 100+ workouts and will also include basic features such as heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, blood oxygen content, etc.

On the connectivity front, Honor Watch GS Pro sports Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS.

Honor Watch ES: Key specs and features

Coming to Watch ES, the users will get a rectangular dial with a bigger 1.64” AMOLED panel. The screen resolution will be 456*280 pixels. The smartwatch will also come with AOD with customization options for watch faces and widgets.

As it’s a more fitness-centric variant, Honor is providing 12 fitness courses. These courses are pre-installed on the watch, along with detailed instructions. There will be 95 workout options on the tracker, including sleep tracking, heart rate tracker, blood oxygen monitoring, and adventure activities like parachuting.

Honor has used dual-chip tech on this tracker, and it will allow the battery to last up to 10 days. The tracker will get 0-70% charged in just 30 minutes, and to get 0-100%, it will take 100 minutes.

Pricing & availability

The Honor Watch GS Pro will come in 3 color options, Camo Blue, Marl White, and Charcoal Black, with a price tag of €250. The fitness tracker Watch ES will be available in black, pink, and white colors at €100.
