HMD has been hard at work to revive the Nokia smartphone brand. Over the last few months, it has rolled out a handset at every price point ranging from budget to premium. Not leaving any stone unturned to win the consumer confidence, HMD announced that all its Nokia branded phones launched in 2017, will receive Android 8.0 Oreo update. Now if that wasn’t enough, the company is now assuring the users that its entire phone line-up will also receive the next update Android P next year.
As first reported by PhoneArena, the announcement was made at a launch event in the Philippines. This announcement covers all the current phones including the budget Nokia 3. However, whether it holds true for the upcoming entry-level Nokia 2 remains to be seen.
Currently, HMD sells Nokia 3 for Rs 8500. The Nokia 5 retails at around Rs 13,000 while the Nokia 6 will set you back for Rs 15,000. Lastly, the top dog Nokia 8 is priced at Rs 36,999.
