HMD Relaunches Last Year’s Nokia 6 With More RAM

HMD Global recently launched the updated Nokia 6 2018 in China. But for India, the company seems to have different plans. HMD has launched a 4 GB RAM version of its last year’s Nokia 6, which originally came with 3 GB of RAM. It is priced at Rs. 16,999 and will be available exclusively available on Flipkart starting from February 20.

Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 6 is up of 6000-series aluminium unibody, which makes it the most robust smartphone in this price range. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with 450 nits brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. It bears in 4 GB of RAM while the internal storage is untouched at 32 GB. You can expand the storage further via the microSD card slot.

On the optics front, the Nokia 6 is equipped with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 aperture rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus). For selfies it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 84˚ wide-angle lens.

Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the Home button at the front. For audiophiles it gets a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual speakers and Dolby Atmos support. It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery which resides underneath its hood. The Nokia 6 ships with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box, which can be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo after unboxing.
