The Logicserve Group recently conducted a poll to find out about the most preferred television brands in India. Samsung emerged as a clear winner with a whopping 7755 votes out of the total reach of 13790. The company has been known to produce some fabulous LEDs implemented with the latest technology. Its the picture quality that’s largely responsible for pushing Samsung right up the list. Next to follow is Sony with 4969 of the total votes. Thanks to the most talked about Sony Bravia TV lineup, available in sizes ranging from 32” to a massive 60”.

Popular TV BrandsWay behind is LG with just 3.59 % votes. The South Korean gadget giant has been producing some of the finest quality LCDs and LEDs, but has recently lost the edge to Samsung. Lagging by a few inches is Philips enjoying 0.72 % votes. Finally, its Videocon  with just 0.69 % of the total votes.

Adding up to Samsung’s Glamour is its most sought after LED model, the 55ES8000 which flaunts a massive 55-inch screen. The Full HD 3D TV promises you the best picture quality. Walking the same path is Sony with its fabulous creation the Bravia LED KDL-55HX750. This one too is a 55 incher and supports 3D. LG joins the race with 47LM6410, one of its most sought after models. Moving a step forward, is Videocon with VJF65PA-XS – a 65 incher with full HD 3D capabilities. No doubt, the battle surely seems to be quite intense.

Though Samsung currently seems to be right on top of the list, for many, the brand name alone is not the only deciding factor. Moreover, apart from reliability and looks, a decent number of Indian consumers take into consideration the affordability factor as well. Most of the TV manufacturers are now gearing up towards producing OLEDs which is an advanced variant of the LED TV, and this will only make the competition more intense. No doubt, the television market in India is presently witnessing a great revival.
