Renowned camera manufacturer GoPro has announced the launch of its three new action cameras all over the world. The three new cameras are part of the Hero 7 Series. The cameras are the GoPro Hero 7 Black, Hero 7 Silver, and Hero 7 White. The action cameras have also been launched in India. The Hero 7 Black is the most premium of the three and it offers 4K video recording at 60fps. The Hero 7 Silver records 4K videos at 30fps while the Hero 7 White records 1080p video at 60fps. The three models offer water resistance up to 10 metres. The cameras feature a 2-inch touchscreen panel.

GoPro Hero 7 Black comes with a price tag of Rs. 37,000 in India. In the US however, the price of the device is US$399 which roughly converts to Rs. 28,800. The GoPro Hero 7 Silver sells in the US at $299 which converts to around Rs. 21,600. It is available in India at a premium and comes at Rs. 28,000. The most affordable of the three products – GoPro Hero 7 White is available in India at Rs. 19,000.

All the three models of the GoPro Hero 7 will be available for purchase in India from 27th September onwards. For US customers, the start date will be 30th September.  The company has received pre-orders for the cameras on its website – GoPro.com.

As for its specifications, the GoPro Hero 7 sports a 12-megapixel sensor. It features HyperSmooth Stabilization mode and offers gimbal-like stabilisation as per the company’s claims. This enables it to operate seamlessly without having to rely on a physical gimbal. The camera enables automatic live sharing, comes with a TimeWarp video feature, SuperPhoto mode, enhanced audio, portrait mode, photo timer, and an ultra slo-mo mode. The Ultra slow-motion video facilitates recording footage in 1080p resolution at 240fps. This enables to capture videos that are 8x slower than normal videos.

The Hero 7 Black is aided by support for verbal commands in 14 different languages. The GoPro app can easily pair with the camera and offers “on-the-go” sharing of photos and videos when the camera is connected. The app enables users to add GPS-based location stickers to their videos. The GoPro app is available on Android and iOS.

As for the GoPro Hero 7 Silver and White, both feature a 10-megapixel image sensor and a 2-inch LCD panel. The cameras are equipped to shoot vertically and come with a 2x slow motion video recording feature. The cameras are also equipped with features to enable creation of short Clips. Other key features include a photo timer, voice control, and auto-transfer using the GoPro app.
