Gionee has unveiled the M7 in China. According to a Weibo post, the handset features a premium metal body with eye-catching colours. We must say that the blue and red colours look quite interesting.
The Gionee M7 comes with a 6-inch AMOLED screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. It packs in 2160 × 1080 pixels. Like most smartphone cameras these days, the M7 offers a dual-lens camera on the back. To be precise, it sports a 16-megapixel sensor accompanied by an 8-megapixel lens.
Being a mid-range device, the handset is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P30 chipset. You get 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It has a hybrid slot that can be used for expanding storage or adding a secondary SIM. In terms of software, the handset runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box. Gionee has customised it with Amigo OS 5.0.
The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor. It is 4G VoLTE compatible and 4000 mAh built-in battery. The M7 will go on sale in China tomorrow for 2799 yuan (Rs 28,000).
