Gionee recently launched the S10 Lite in India. And now it seems to be prepping up to launch the Gionee S11. As per Techook, the Gionee S11 may reach Indian market in January 2018. It also states that the phone will be aggressively priced under Rs 20,000. The Gionee S11 is already available in its home country China where it retails for CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,000). It comes in Moonlight Blue, Space Gold, and Cherry Powder.

While the recently launched Gionee S10 Lite was a selfie-centric phone with decent performance. The Gionee S11 up the game further. It sports stylish all-glass body. The rear panel is reminiscent of the Apple iPhone 8 with its horizontally stacked rear dual-cameras. It sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2160 x 1080 pixel display. The tall screen has a 18:9 ratio. There are thin bezels, which gives it a compact form factor. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear.

At its heart, the smartphone makes use of a 2.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 chipset. It bears in 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via the microSD card slot.

The highlight is phone’s quad cameras. The rear camera setup comprises of a 16 MP primary sensor and a 5 MP secondary sensor accompanied by autofocus and LED flash. The dual-camera setup on the front gets a 16 MP primary sensor + 8 MP secondary sensor. No doubt, it will be good at producing bokeh effect. Other camera features include touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection. HDR and panorama. The rear camera also shoots 1080p videos @ 30 fps.

The S11 will be a dual-SIM phone with 4G VoLTE calling support. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, microUSB 2.0, and USB OTG. The phone draws power from a 3410 mAh battery. On the software front, it runs Amigo 5.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
