A few weeks after its global announcement, the Gionee M7 Power has been released in India. The pre-orders begin from November 17 on Amazon. The smartphone is priced at Rs 16,999, and will start shipping from November 25. Those who pre-order the device will get one-time free screen replacement for first six months. The Chinese company has also partnered with Reliance to offer 10 GB Additional data per month on Jio network.
For its price, this smartphone scores high in terms of design. It sports a premium look with an aluminium body. The M7 Power features a 6-inch screen with 1440×720 pixels. The screen has a 18:9 aspect ratio. It does look weak on paper due to choosing the entry-level Snapdragon 435 chipset.
The phone has 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, and hybrid slot that can hold a memory card at the expense of a secondary SIM. The M7 Power comes with a 13 MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies, there’s an 8 MP front-facing camera.
The M7 Power uses a fingerprint sensor for secure login. It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. True to its name, the M7 Power packs in a 5000 mAh battery.
