Gionee Launches a Quad-Core Budget Smart Phone, Pioneer P3, in India for Rs. 7499by Sushant Bhosale December 10, 2013 0 comments
China based handset manufacturer, Gionee, which recently launched a slew of smart phones in India, has now unveiled a new quad-core budget handset named Pioneer P3. The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 7499/- and will be available in Black and White colour variants.
The P3 sports 4.3-inch display and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system with Amigo 2.0 UI. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor with unspecified chipset. There’s 512MB RAM, 4GB in-built storage that can be expanded up to 32GB by means of a microSD card. The device supports dual SIM functionality and has connectivity features such as Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and micro USB port.
At the back, there’s a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash capable of recording HD videos, whereas the front sports a 0.3MP VGA camera. There are additional camera features included such as smile detection, gesture recognition, geo-tagging and panoramic view etc. The phone supports Over The Air (OTA) function which allows for software upgrades and has FM radio as well. The P3 comes preinstalled with a proprietary Gionee Xender that enables user to share heavy files quickly and easily.
All of this is packed with 1700mAh battery that promises up to 8-12 hours of talk time and 10-12 days of standby.
