Samsung’s latest smartphone Galaxy Grand Neo a.k.a Grand Lite (model number: GT-I9060) is now listed on the official Samsung Levant website. The Grand Neo is one of the much anticipated additions to Samsung’s popular Galaxy series. There are no details revealed by the company, but the phone is on sale in Netherland for €260 (approx. $355, Rs. 22,000).
The Grand Neo sports a 5.1-inch WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (further details about processor are unknown as of now) along with 1GB RAM. It features 16GB built-in storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. Although exact details regarding OS are not available, the device is expected to run on Android 4.2 or 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
The dual-SIM phone hosts a 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The main camera is capable of recording video in 720p. The connectivity features include Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS/APGS. All of this is backed with 2100mAh battery capacity that can deliver up to 8 hours of 3G internet usage and 10 hours of Wi-Fi internet usage. It can also provide up to 11 hours of talktime.
In terms of dimensions, the device measures 143.7 x 77.1 x 9.6mm and weighs around 163 grams.
