The Japanese brand has unveiled two laptops under the UH-X series. The standard UH-X will be the traditional offering, a clamshell laptop whereas the UH-X 2-in-1 is the convertible variant. The company claims that these laptops will be the thinnest ones in the country.

The UH-X series offers the premium segment of laptops with top-notch specs. The Japanese tech brand is using Takumi craftsmanship on these laptops. At the launch event, CEO Takeshi Okuma said that the series is focused on offering the users a performance-intensive and portable experience. These elements will allow users to cope up with the changing environment, he added.

Fujitsu UH-X and UH-X 2-in-1: Key specs & features

Apart from a few key differences, Fujitsu UH-X series offers the same specs on its laptops. The screen size on both the variants will be 13.3” and it will produce a resolution of FHD+ and the laptop also comes with the backlit keyboard. The UH-X 2-in-1 will come with a 360-degree hinge that will allow users to use the laptop in multiple positions. This convertible laptop will also come with a stylus and touch-sensitivity.

The standard UH-X will come with a 720p webcam whereas the convertible will come with an Infrared FHD camera along with a rear 5MP sensor. The clamshell UH-X will also come with a camera shutter along with a fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button. The series will also come with Windows Hello support along with NC mics and stereo audio system powered by Dirac Panorama sound.

The all-new Fujitsu series will draw its power from Intel’s Core i7 11th-gen chipset that will also come with onboard Intel Xe GPU. The top-spec variant will come with 16 gigs of memory and 1TB of high-speed SSD storage. The battery capacity on this Fujitsu UH-X lineup is 50Wh and the brand claims that it will last for 11 hours. The laptops will run on Windows 10.

The laptops are also equipped with a number of options in terms of connectivity. A few of them are Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-fi 6, type-C port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, HDMI port, USB type-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and availability

The series come with a premium price tag of ₹80,990 for the regular UH-X and ₹86,990 for the 2-in-1 convertible option. The devices will be available in a single Black color option and the sale will commence on July 26 through Amazon IN. The Japanese brand is offering the warranty period of 1 year on battery and 2 years on the parts.
