The Fitibit Alta is essentially a good- looking leather bracelet that helps you keep a track of your activities, not like a nosy partner, but like a caring sibling! With a tap-sensitive, monochrome OLED display, the wearer can use the Alta as a means of keeping track of your sleep and calories.

One of the potentially amusing features of the Alta is called ‘Reminder To Move’; instead of your parent, child, or friend reminding you to get a move on, the bracelet buzzes at regular intervals to remind you to achieve your goal of 250 steps. If walking is not your thing, you can set custom alerts too. This can be tremendously helpful if you have a sedentary job which requires you to sit all day long.

Another useful feature is SmartTrack which can automatically discern among the different activities like walking, running, aerobics, as well as a sport like tennis and football.

This Alta will keep you company for at least 5 days on a single full charge. You can sync your bracelet with your smartphone, as the bracelet supports over 200 Android, Windows, and iOS smartphones. So the next time your smartphone receives a notification, a little vibration on your wrist will alert you to them.

If sticking to simply one coloured bracelet is not your thing, then you can opt for the multiple other different coloured bands to keep the vibrancy alive. In fact, Fitibit is coming out with a gold, stainless steel version to add to the silver stainless steel variant of the Alta. Fitibit has quite a few colour variants such as plum, teal, blue, teal, and black which you can buy for Rs 2,999; whereas, the premium range of Luxe soft leather bands, available in graphite, blush pink, and other colours can be bought for a higher price of Rs 5,999. Now that’s a small price to pay for such a stylish looking bracelet, don’t you agree?

If you are looking for a standard activity tracker but don’t want it to stand out for its bulkiness or rugged looks, the Fitbit Alta is the way to go; the bracelet looks appealing with every outfit, be it a cardigan or a T-shirt.
