Huawei honor 7 vs oneplus one vs lg g3

Today we undertake a neck to neck comparison of three Android smartphones considered as flagships for their respective companies. The newly announced Huawei Honor 7, and the relatively older LG G3 and the Oneplus One are great phones with top of the line specifications. So which one should you go for? Let us help you. Read on!

-5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display

-3 GB RAM

– 16/64 GB internal memory

– 8 MP front facing camera

Much was appreciated about the Huawei Honor 6 released last year because of its phenomenal feature list and a great price. This year, Huawei looks to carry on the flame by announcing the successor to the Honor 6, the predictably named Honor 7. The Honor 7 packs a wallop! With a powerful 2.2 Ghz chip, the Huawei device has easily raced ahead of it immediate competitors. Compared to the relatively older LG G3 and Oneplus One on our list today, the Honor 7 is newer and packs a better camera. The Honor 7 will be released shortly for an estimated price of approx. Rs. 21,000

LG G3:

Qualcomm MSM8975AC Quadcore 2.5 Snapdragon 801 CPU

5.5 inches True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen display

3 GB RAM

16/32 GB internal memory

13 MP Primary camera

2.1 MP secondary camera

Announced about two months later than other flagships, the LG G3 is still very much the beast it was made out to be. The LG G3 packs a slightly more powerful 2.5 Ghz CPU as compared to teh Honor 7. It also houses a larger 5.5 inch screen with a pixel density considerably greater than both the Honor 7 and the Oneplus One. The battery within is similar, so is the RAM and the internal storage. If you want a phone that packs a punch but are reluctant to go with Huawei or Oneplus, then this device is for you. The LG G3 retails for a price of Rs. 35000.

Oneplus One:

Key Specifications:

5.5 inches LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen

3 GB RAM

13 MP Primary Camera

5 MP Secondary Camera

16/64 GB internal memory

The Oneplus One was another device that arrived with a bang last year. In a matter of months it has turned out to be one of the most potent flagship killers. For a price of Rs. 22,000, the device boasts of a large 5.5 inch screen, a quad core chipset and a 13 MP camera; features which you can hardly find in a device that costs so less. When compared to the Honor 7 and the LG G3, the Oneplus One is almost neck to neck, if not ahead. The device houses a similar screen to the G3, and slightly larger than the Honor 7.

We feel the LG G3 might just be ahead of the others in this comparison, mostly because of its larger screen and faster chipset. But as far as the price is concerned, it is the most expensive of the three. LG have been in the phone business a lot longer than Huawei and Oneplus, which is an added benefit. If price is a concern, the next best model to go to is the Oneplus One. It features a larger screen and is priced quite similar to the Huawei Honor 7.

So that’s it folks! We have laid down the cards for you. Whatever you do, choose wisely! Happy phone hunting!
