The UK based home appliances brand Dyson has finally revealed its Omni-Glide Vacuum Cleaner in India. The key feature of this cleaner is that it is equipped with an omnidirectional roller, a set of two motorized rollers that will pick up dust and debris. The roller head is also an engineering masterpiece where it can easily roll in any direction without any effort. The glide works sideways, backward, and forward.

Thanks to the Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor, it will create a dynamic suction paired with a set of 8 cyclonic motors that will also suck minute dust particles from the air. The cleaner is also equipped with the brand’s own highly advanced whole-machine filtration.

Dyson Omni-Glide Vacuum Cleaner: Key features & specs

This omni-glide cleaner is the company’s debut gadget that is equipped with an omni-directional fluffy cleaner that can glide in any direction. The previous variants of Dyson cleaners such as Dyson V8 Absolute+ and Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Pro that are also in the same price bracket were only able to move forwards and backwards. Even the top-notch variants like Dyson V11 Absolute Pro, where the brand offered swappable batteries, has only forward and backward functionality. The home appliances brand also claims that this latest Omni-Glide Cleaner is the slimmest offering in the whole lineup.

The design language of this latest cleaner is an in-line one where it offers a separation system, filter, motor, and handle. The Dyson Hyperdymium motor that we discussed above can go all the way up to 1,05,000 RPM. The advanced filtration system, the proprietary of Dyson, claims to clean up to 99.99% of the dust, up to 0.3 micron particles. In terms of add-ons, the brand is offering three accessories, a ground-in dirt and hair cleaner, a tool for worktops, and a combined tool set for enhanced functionality.

The process is also quite easy to empty the bin, Dyson claims. It comes with an all-new rotary mechanism that will empty the bin instantly. The mesh shroud is completely cleaned by a silicon collar and the trigger is also replaced by a more modern power button. It will also come with a wall dock so that storing it doesn’t become an issue.

The battery capacity on Omni-Glide Vacuum Cleaner is also quite good and the company claims that it will last up to 20 minutes on a single charge. Comparing it with the brand’s own devices, Dyson V8 Absolute+ lasts up to 40 minutes, Cyclone V10 Absolute Pro will provide you a battery life of 60 minutes, and the Dyson V11 Absolute Pro will last up to 120 minutes on a single charge.

Pricing and availability

Dyson’s all-new Omni-Glide Vacuum Cleaner will be available in a single Purple/Nickel color and will come with a premium price tag of ₹34,990. The brand stated that all of its offerings can be purchased through its website along with Amazon and Flipkart. It will also be available in Dyson Demo Spaces present in Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Chennai. Dyson has also tied up with a few Croma stores to sell its new offering.
