Dell recently unveiled its latest line-up of Latitude laptops powered by the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. These are hybrid devices starting at a pretty decent price of Rs. 45000.

While the range included several devices, grabbing the spotlights were the Latitude 13 7370 and the Latitude 12 7275, both targeted towards the professional class.

Interestingly, the Latitude 13 7370 is claimed to be the thinnest business laptop packed with all the necessary features. It sports a 13.3 inch Infinity Edge display which turns out to be one of its prime specifications. Protected by a carbon fibre outer shell, the laptop is highly durable. The device will be shipped with Thunderbolt 3 for faster date transfer.

Apart from an impressive battery life, the laptop is known to pack in some cool security features such as the fingerprint reader, smartcard reader and the RFID reader.

The 7370 is powered by the 6th generation Intel Core M processor and comes with a 512 GB SSD. Finally, a professional laptop is not complete without an HD video webcam.

The device will hit shelves early next month and will cost Rs. 79,999. The price tag may seem a bit expensive. However, with all those fabulous features packed in, the pricing is indeed justified. Don’t forget, you’ll own the slimmest laptop, one that’s much slimmer than your neighbour’s laptop.

The Dell Latitude 12 7275, on the other hand, features a slightly smaller display at 12.5 inches. Amazingly, you won’t find locks and latches on the laptop. Instead, the alignment is done using the magnets. The full-sized keyboard is lightweight and has backlit chiclet keys.

Sporting a magnesium body, the laptop houses an 8 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Processor options include Intel Core m3, Core m5 and Core m7. You can bring home this one by shedding somewhere around Rs. 88,000.

Dell also unveiled the Latitude 11 5175 priced at Rs. 59,999. This 2-in-1 laptop sports a 10.8-inch full-HD display shielded by the corning Gorilla glass. You can choose between the Intel Core m3 and the Core m5 variant. A 512 GB SSD should be sufficient enough. Like the Latitude 12 7275, this one too features an 8 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front-facing snapper.

Connectivity options include Micro HDMI, USB 3.0, Type-A Micro-USB 3.0, SIM card slot and an SD memory card reader. Wireless connectivity includes options such as Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1 and Miracast.

For years now, Dell has been constantly offering its customers the best of laptop experience. However, with the latest Latitude portfolio, the gadget giant plans to take it all to the next level.

Which one you should buy?

So, if a lightweight laptop packed with all the necessary features is what you are looking for, you might want to go for one of these. However, it is advisable that you spend some time browsing through the models available to find out which one rightly fits your requirements. But, no matter which one you pick, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
