Most Windows laptops are quite “meh” compared to Apple’s MacBook line-up. But then, there is Dell’s XPS 13 that makes the MacBook Pro look like a thing of the past.

It is the world’s most compact 13.3-inch laptop. Thanks to its thin-bezel design, it fits in a 13.3-inch screen in a footprint of an 11-inch MacBook Air. The latest model in the series is dubbed as XPS 13 (9370).

The laptop comes in Full HD and Quad-HD screen options. Both variants boast of a touchscreen. The new XPS 13 is powered by the latest Intel 8th Generation Quad Core CPUs. It supports 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM. Storage can be maxed at 512 GB SSD. heavy pixel crunching is handled by Intel’s Ultra HD Graphic card 620.

The Dell’s XPS 13 comes with a microSD slot, USB-C 3.1, headset jack, 2x Thunderbolt, and speakers. The laptop comes loaded with Windows 10. Taking advantage of the on-board IR camera, the machine lets you login with face recognition.

The laptop offers up to 19 hours, 46 minutes battery life with screen resolution set to Full HD. Dell claims that it is the first laptop built with GORE Thermal Insulation, which provides thermal conductivity levels lower than air in a thin form factor.

The Dell XPS 13 is priced at Rs 94,790 for Core i5 processor with Full HD display. For Core i7 version with Full HD screen, you will have to pay Rs 141,490. For top of the line model with Core i7 processor and Ultra HD screen, you must shell out Rs 159,790. The XPS 13 will be available for purchase starting February 6, 2018.
