[CompareRaja EXCLUSIVE] Sony Xperia XZ3 Leaked CAD Renders and 360-Degree Video

The Japanese tech giant Sony is rumored to launch its next flagship smartphone dubbed as Xperia XZ3 at IFA 2018. The purported phone has been in news for quite some time and we now have exclusive leaked renders of the upcoming phone, thanks to CompareRaja‘s trusted tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks).

Going by the leaked renders, the XZ3 features a single camera on the rear along with a circular fingerprint scanner placed beneath the same. The LED flash is placed above the camera set up. The back panel also features Xperia branding whereas the front flaunts the Sony logo at the bottom of the display. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right whereas the bottom features USB charging port. The 3.5mm headphone jack seems to be missing though.

As for physical dimensions, the device is expected to measure 158.3 x 73.08 x 9.9/10.1 mm. The phone is expected to feature glass back and will have support for wireless charging as well.

Sony Xperia XZ3: Expected Features and Specifications

Based on the earlier leaks, the Xperia XZ3 will sport a water resistant design (IP68 certified) with 5.7-inch Full HD+ display having 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio similar to its predecessor Xperia XZ2. The display may have considerable bezels at the top as well as bottom and there won’t be a notch at the top as found in most Android flagship smartphones being launched these days. The device may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. There may be two storage options available for the buyers- 64GB and 128GB, with an option to expand the same via microSD card. The phone could come with a 3,240mAh battery with support for Sony’s Quick Charge 3 support for fast charging. It may run on upcoming Android 9.0 P operating system.

One of the recent leaks had mentioned a dual rear camera set up comprising of 19MP primary sensor and 12MP secondary sensor along with LED flash, which is contrary to the information that we have. The front could host a 13MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
