[CompareRaja EXCLUSIVE] Apple iPhones XI (2019) Color, Design, Display and Battery Details Leaked

Recently team CompareRaja leaked one of the prototypes (let’s call it ‘A’) of iPhone 2019 aka iPhone XI with horizontally placed triple rear camera; via our frequent collaborator Steve Hemmerstoffer. Incidentally, Steve had also leaked another prototype (let’s call it ‘B’) via Digit.in, which showcased iPhone XI with triple camera module placed in a square unit. Steve had reported that iPhone 2019 is still in EVT stage (Engineering Validation Test) and we can either have both ‘A’ & ‘B’ prototypes launched and marketed as two different models (say iPhone XIS and XIS max) or one of the leaked prototypes will be axed and the other will be retained.

Today, one of our other reliable sources from the industry has confirmed that the prototype ‘A‘ will surely see the light of the day!

Which means that the prototype ‘B’ could be axed, or it could still be launched as one of the iPhones 2019. Our guess is that it could be axed. Notably, the prototype ‘B’ did not elicit a good response from the fans when it was leaked.

It is not yet clear as to which model will prototype ‘A’ represent i.e. iPhone XIS (successor to iPhone XS) or XIS max (successor to iPhone XS Max), but our guess is it will represent the iPhone XIS.

Apple iPhone XI (2019) Color Options

Our source has also shared the color variants in which the prototype ‘A’ will be launched. It will retain the standard ‘Silver’, ‘Gold’ and ‘Space Grey’ color options and Apple may add a new ‘Blue‘ color variant at the time of launch or later on to boost sales.

As per the same source, the prototype ‘A’ will have display panel of the same size as that of iPhone XS i.e. 5.8-inch. The display type will be OLED with Super Retina HD and its pixel density as well as aspect ratio is also likely to be the same as that of iPhone XS. However, as mentioned in our previous leak, the screen-to-body ratio will be slightly better due to thinner bezels and smaller notch. W.r.t. the dimensions, it is expected to have dimensions of 5.65″ (h) x 2.79″ (w) x 0.30″ (d). The device will be IP68 certified for resistance against water and dust.

4,000mAh Battery with USB Type-C instead of Lightning port

Further, according to our source, upcoming iPhone will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with USB Type-C port instead of Apple’s proprietary Lightning port, which is in line with other reports.

iPhone XI won’t support 5G

Yes, our source has confirmed that we’ll need to wait another year for a 5G compatible iPhone. 5G is one of the key steps in telecommunications but Apple will need to stay on the sidelines this year, thanks to its licensing dispute with Qualcomm.
