South Korean technology behemoth Samsung has announced its revamped laptops. The new machines are Notebook 7 Spin (2018), Notebook 9, and Notebook 9 Pen.
The Notebook 7 Spin comes with a touchscreen that rotates 360 degrees on its hinge. It supports an active Pen that takes advantage of the touch and inking features of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. The accessory is ideal for to draw a sketch or jot down notes on the fly. For security, it uses fingerprint scanner to verify users.
It is powered by Intel i5 processor with up to 8 GB RAM. The 256 GB SSD drive allows for quicker start up time. The 13.3-inche Full HD lets it transform from a conventional laptop to a convertible.
The Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) will be available in select countries starting in the first quarter of 2018.
The Notebook 9 Pen is another 2-in-1 PC. It boasts of a classy metal chassis. The 360-degree hinge allows you to convert to a tablet from a laptop.
Much like the Notebook 7 Spin, this one comes with an S Pen support. You can use it doodle, write, sketch, and paint. The S Pen is battery free, built into the device. The S Pen can recognize 4,096 levels of pressure with a fine 0.7 mm tip and convenient tilt detection to allow for a natural writing and drawing experience.
The Notebook 9 (2018) comes in three different versions. Customers can choose between a 13.3” to a 15” touch screen sizes. There’s even an option to opt for enhanced graphics capabilities. This laptop has a durable metal build and thin bezels for compact form factor.
The Notebook 9 (2018) is powered by Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 processor. The Windows 10 Hello feature offers you to log in using a fingerprint scan or face recognition using the IR front-facing camera.
The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen and Notebook 9 will roll out in the US in the first quarter of 2018.
