Dell’s MacBook competitor XPS 13 has got more powerful in the latest version. This thin machine is best known for offering a 13-inch screen in 11-inch form factor using the Infinity display technology. Dell claims that the new machine is thinner and lighter than its predecessor and yet offers 2x the performance.
The new XPS 13 is powered by the latest Intel 8th Generation Quad Core processor. To keep running cool, the laptop relies on GORE Thermal Insulation, which uses a thin flexible material to direct the heat outside.
The screen resolution has also been bumped up from QHD+ to 4K Ultra HD. The new XPS 13 runs Windows 10. It is fully compatible with Windows Hello biometric features such as face recognition or fingerprint identification.
The laptop can offer up to 19 hours of battery life on Full HD resolution. The battery life will be limited to 11 hours should you crank up the resolution to 4K.
The new XPS 13 is available globally beginning today on Dell.com, Microsoft.com. The price of base model is $999.99 (approx. Rs 63,500).
