Asus Zenfone 5Z Expected to Launch in India Soon: Will Compete Against OnePlus 6

ASUS-ZenFone-5ZAsus launched announced the Zenfone 5Z smartphone at MWC 2018 earlier this year and the phone has launched in France with starting price of EUR 500 (roughly Rs. 39,800) for the base variant i.e. 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. Whereas the top variant of 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage is priced at EUR 600 (roughly Rs. 49,700). Now, the phone is expected to hit the Indian market soon, where it will primarily compete against the OnePlus 6, which is priced in the similar range.

Asus Zenfone 5Z Display, OS, Hardware and Other Specifications:

The Asus Zenfone 5Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor + Adreno 630 GPU coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB/256GB of internal storage. The phone features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ notched display with a 1080 x 2246 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It also features 2.5D curved glass. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with the ZenUI 5.0 overlay and packs a 3,300mAh battery with ASUS BoostMaster fast charging support.

For the camera buffs, there’s dual rear camera set up of 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture paired with an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there’s 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
