Asus Unveils FX504 TUF Gaming Laptop With NVIDIA GTX 1060 Graphics

Tech giant Asus unveiled new models of its TUF Gaming series of laptops. The company has promised an “immersive and durable gaming experience”. The Ultimate Force (TUF) series by Asus is recognized for its affordable gaming laptops.

The Asus TUF Gaming FX504, which was first launched in May this year in India, will be augmented with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. The gaming laptop was earlier powered with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics.

The new Asus TUG Gaming FX504 model with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 will be available in India at a price of Rs. 84,990. This is for its 8th gen Intel Core i5 variant. For the Intel Core i7 model, the gaming laptop will be priced at Rs. 95,990. The company has also introduced a new model that comes with GTX 1050 and is priced at Rs. 63,990.

The company has conveyed that the new variants will be available across Large Format Retail (LFR) stores. It will also be available across online retailers, and ASUS channel partners in India from August 1.

The price of the old Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptops have also been changed now. The Asus TUF Gaming FX504 model with GTX 1050 Ti will now be available at Rs. 71,990, which means that the price has been dropped by Rs. 4000 for the 8th gen Intel Core i5 variant. The price of the 8th gen Intel Core i7 model has been dropped by Rs. 5000 and will now be priced at Rs. 85,990. As for the TUF Gaming FX504 with GTX 1050 and a 128GB SSD, the price has been reduced by Rs. 4000 and the revised price has been set at Rs. 68,990.

The Asus TUF Gaming FX504 laptop packs in a display screen of 15.6-inch full-HD. It boasts of a resolution of 1920×1080 and an IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.

The gaming laptop is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i5-8300H or an 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor. The processor is complemented with 8GB DDR4 RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics. The laptop comes with 1TB Firecuda Hybrid SSD storage paired with a 128GB NVME PCIE Gen3x4 SSD.

The laptop features Asus’ proprietary Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system with fan overboost. This feature helps to clear build up in thermal fins. It controls and maintains a balance between fan performance and noise levels. The keyboard of the device has a claimed lifespan of about 20 million key presses and 1.8mm of travel.
