Asus has joined the early wave of Qualcomm Snapdragon chip powered Windows machines. Its NovaGo is a thin and light convertible laptop with a touchscreen. It features a precision-engineered 360-degree hinge. The laptop features a 13.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen. It has a full-size backlit keyboard with 1.4 mm key travel. it also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The NovaGo is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC chip. It is clocked at 2.6 GHz. Its Adreno 540 GPU handles gaming and other graphic intensive tasks. The convertible will be available in 4 GB / 6 GB / 8 GB RAM variants. Depending on the model, you will get 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB internal storage.
The NovaGo has two full-size USB 3.1 ports, 3.5 mm audio jack, MicroSD card slot, nano SIM slot, and HDMI. The laptop offers seamless connectivity b switching between Wi-Fi and 4G data. Asus has thrown-in a smart pen with 1024-level pressure-sensitive tip. it is ideal for taking notes or draw a picture without spilling colours. The convertible packs in a 52Wh battery that promises up to 22 hours battery life. With Qualcomm’s always online battery saving technology, it can last over 30 days on standby.
The Asus NovaGo runs Windows 10 S. Microsoft is offering free upgrade to full-fledged Windows 10 Pro. It is fully compatible with new features such as Windows Ink, Windows Hello, and Cortana.
