Here comes a new entrant in the affordable smartphone segment. Called the Aqua Jazz, this phone supports 4G VoLTE and costs only Rs 5,999. And no, it is not an Aqua series phone by Intex. Aqua Mobiles is an independent company formed by Arvind K. Adukia, Govind Bansal, and Abhishek Adukia. It is one of the lesser known brands that primarily manufactures feature phones. Though, it is now wishful to take a fair share of the growing smartphone market in India.

Despite its low price tag, the Aqua Jazz features a sleek metal unibody design. It also has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The domestic brand also offers dual rear cameras.

The phone sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by an unspecified quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. We believe it could be a Spreadtrum made SoC (System on Chip). The phone has 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. You can expand it further via a microSD card slot.

On the photography front, there is a 13 MP primary sensor along with a 0.3 MP secondary sensor. For the selfie-addicts, there is a 5 MP shooter. Both the front and rear cameras on the Aqua Jazz get LED flash support.

The Jazz has all essential features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It packs in a 2,800 mAh non-removable battery.
