Tech giant Apple is known for its innovative products packaged in simple design and colours. When it launched the much anticipated iPhone X on its 10th anniversary, it did come across as a surprise that the company launched only two colour options- Silver and Space Grey. However, there’s a report by Japanese site Mac Otakara which says that the Cupertino giant is planning to add an another colour variant to iPhone X in the coming months in order to boost sales.

What does the report exactly say?

Japanese website Makotakara reports, “for the purpose of restoring sales of the iPhone X, Apple plans to release a new colour.” Unfortunately the report doesn’t reveal any further details about the colour or its launch date. However, this rumour is in line with some of the other rumour mills doing the rounds on the web wide world which claim that Apple is working on the third colour option for its 10th anniversary special iPhone X. One of the popular tipsters, Benjamin Geskin, also reported earlier that Apple has already started the production of the new colour variant “Blush Gold” for its iPhone X.

Apple has done this in the past as well with iPhone 7. The company launched limited edition red colour variant of iPhone 7 in 2017.

So, if you are planning to buy iPhone X which is the most expensive yet powerful iPhone till date, it will be a good idea to wait for the new colour variant.

Notably, Apple is holding an education-focused keynote event at Lane Tech College Prep High School tomorrow i.e. March 27 in Chicago. The company is expected to launch a cheaper iPad with Apple Pencil support and MacBook Air with Retina Display in accordance with the ‘education’ theme.
