Apple iPhone XR Gets a Massive Price Cut: Now Start at Rs. 59,900

If you are Apple fan, then we here’s good news for you. The Cupertino-based tech giant has reduced the price of its iPhone XR (launched last year) to Rs. 59,900 for the entry-level 64GB. This is a significant discount from its original price of Rs. 76,900. Further, the company has partnered with HDFC to provide an additional cashback of 10 per cent for purchases made via HDFC debit and credit cards. This brings down the effective price of iPhone XR to Rs. 53,900. The offer is also applicable on purchase of iPhone XR 128GB and 256GB models which will now be available at a net price of Rs. 58,400 and Rs. 67,400 respectively to HDFC Bank card holders. The HDFC cashback offer is also applicable on 12/24-month EMI transactions. The prices for non-HDFC Bank customers will be Rs. 64,900 (earlier Rs. 81,900) and Rs. 74,900 (earlier Rs. 91,900) respectively.

The iPhone XR is the most affordable iPhone in Apple’s latest lineup, the other two being iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. It features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD LCD display with screen resolution of 1292×828 pixels but lacks 3D Touch unlike its siblings. It is powered by Apple’s latest A12 Bionic SoC that also powers the flagship iPhone XS models along with 3GB of RAM. In terms of optics, there’s a single 12-megapixel sensor on the back with f/1.8 aperture, and Focus Pixels. The front hosts a 7MP camera with an ƒ/2.2 aperture and features such as Retina Flash, Auto image stabilization, Burst mode, Exposure control, Timer mode etc. It comes in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB onboard storage options and six colour options- Black, Blue, Coral, White, Yellow, and Red. Some of the other key features of the device include Face ID and touch to wake up. The device runs iOS 12 operating system out of the box.
