Motorola has reportedly started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS update for its dual-SIM variant of Moto G smartphone in India. The 230.7 MB update brings Google’s latest OS to Moto G.

What to expect with Android 4.4 KitKat update:

  • New dialer app
  • SMS/MMS integration into Google Hangouts
  • New photo editing options to the Gallery such as advanced cropping, new filters etc.
  • Support for printing photos, Google Docs etc. via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters
  • Redesigned status bar and battery efficiency
  • More colored emojis

Those who haven’t yet got the notification about the update can get it manually by going to Settings>About Phone>System Updates>Download. Simply install the update once the download is complete.

The Moto G was rolled out in India last week exclusively with online megastore Flipkart. The 8GB variant is available for around Rs. 12,499 whereas the 16GB variant is available for Rs. 13,999. Several accessories such as the Grip Cover and Back Cover were also launched by the company along with the handset.
