This is the 4th Generation Apple TV, which aims to provide the users a TV experience like never before. The new Apple TV features a redesigned UI that is centred upon apps, universal search and gaming. It also has an all new Siri Remote control.

In terms of design and appearance, the new Apple TV looks pretty similar to its previous model, it also retains its black hockey puck design but the new model is slightly thicker and a bit heavier too. The TV has a new iOS 9 style UI, which is easy and simple for the users to navigate around. You can double click the Home Button on the Siri Remote to view the recently used apps. The UI also allows you to customize the home screen, set new cinematic screens savers as per your choice and more.

One of the key elements of the new Apple TV interface is the integration of Siri in it; you can literally ask Siri to bring any content that you want to watch on your TV screen. You can even search through the different apps and find a movie or a TV show of your choice with voice commands. The Siri can even answer your questions like, ‘which actors star in the movie’, or ask to replay a certain part of the movie that you missed or fast forward the content. You can simply ask Siri, ‘what did he say?’ and Siri will rewind the movie for 15 seconds and bring up subtitles.

The new Apple TV is all set to revolutionize the gaming experience you have ever had. With the addition of an app Store and native tvOS and SDK, Apple literally transforms your TV into a Nintendo or Xbox play station. The Siri Remote control doubles up as a gaming controller; the glass touch surface on the remote acts as a virtual directional pad. The 4th Gen Apple TV also supports MFi certified third party Bluetooth controllers and Joy Stick.

The Apple will be available for public by the end of October and it would cost you $149 for 32 GB variant and $199 for 64 GB.
