Alcatel 1X (2019)TCL Communications has launched its two new budget smartphones dubbed as Alcatel 1C (2019) and Alcatel 1X (2019) at the sidelines of the CES 2019 event in Las Vegas. Needless to mention that the new phones are successors to Alcatel 1C and Alcatel 1X 2018 models respectively. Both the phones will come in a textured finish body and will go on sale this quarter in select countries only. Being budget smartphones, both the phones come with entry-level specifications.

Alcatel 1X (2019) and 1C (2019) Pricing

The Alcatel 1X is priced at $120 which is roughly Rs. 8,500 and the 1C (2019) is priced comparatively lower at $80 in US and €70 in Europe which is roughly Rs. 5,500. The smartphones will be made available in select markets in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East beginning in Q1 2019.

Alcatel 1X (2019) Features and Specifications

The Alcatel 1X features a 5.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It draws power from MediaTek MT6739 SoC along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage (up to 128GB expandable). It runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box and is backed by a 3,000mAh capacity battery. In terms of optics, you get a 13MP + 2MP dual camera set up on the back and a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies. Connectivity options provided with the device are 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.

Alcatel 1C (2019) Features and Specifications

Alcatel 1C is an Android Go smartphone that boots Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition out of the box and is backed by a 2,000mAh capacity battery. The dual-SIM phone comes with 5.3-inch screen featuring a 2.5D curved glass, 960 x 480 pixel screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. There is support for microSD cards of up to 32GB. In the camera department you get a basic 5-megapixel rear sensor and a 2-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calls. For connectivity purpose, there’s 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and dual SIM support. However, the device lacks fingerprint sensor.
