To make 4G smartphones more accessible, Airtel has partnered with Transsion Holdings’ subsidiary iTel. Under the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative, Itel A40 and itel A41 smartphones will be available for an effective price of Rs 3099 and Rs 3199 respectively.

Customers will get cashback benefit of Rs 1500. Thereby, reducing the effective cost of owning a smartphone. Both smartphones will come bundled with a monthly recharge pack of Rs 169 from Airtel, offering data and calling benefits.

To opt in for this offer, you need to make a down payment of Rs 4599 for the Itel A40 and Rs 4699 for the Itel A41. The cashback benefit of Rs 1500 will be given to customers over a period of 36 months. At the end of 18 months, customers who have done recharges worth Rs 3000 will be eligible for the first cashback instalment of Rs 500. They will be eligible for the second instalment of Rs 1000 provided they complete another set of recharges worth Rs 3000 over the next 18 months.

Although there is a price difference of Rs 100 between these two devices, the specs are similar. Both the Itel A40 and A41 sports a 5-inch FWVGA screen with 480×854 pixels. These phones are powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. You get 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. You can expand it father via a microSD card slot.

The A40 and A41 come with a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP selfie shooter. These are dual SIM devices with 4G VoLTE support. Both these phones have a 2.400 mAh battery capacity.
