Have you heard the word “Aghori” recently?  It is a multi issue comic series which is infused with horror and supernatural phenomenon. Gripping yet interesting, this graphic novel is available in 3 parts and in a combo pack as well.  Written by Ram V, a debut sci-fi writer with graphics and art by noted artist, Vivek Goel along with Yogesh Pugaonkar and Gaurav Shrivastav as colorists, Aghori has been quite well received.

AghoriAghori – Book 1 introduces Vikram Roy as the protagonist who is struggling to live a normal life as he chooses between good and bad. Separated from his family, Vikram decides to find out a couple of answers through very different way.  As he returns after twelve long years as Vira, the Aghori, his world has certainly changed a great deal and so as he.  This time, Vira aka Vikram wanders at the darkest of places in search of his most loved thing in order to protect it.

Aghori – Book – 2 takes the story forward as Vira takes Ashwin’s help to locate his son. He is compelled to follow the goddess’s message which takes them to the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. As the night progresses, the eeriness increases for the dead people rise and old rivalries have yet to be resolved. As Vira strives to overcome fear and don a courageous face, will he be successful at locating his son and reuniting with him is yet to be seen!!

Aghori – Book – 3 takes the story line forward, post his reunion with his son at the Thar Desert, Vira is perplexed to discover his son is against him and this has been done a pair of mysterious twins. As he further delves into the truth, the road is tough and challenging. Involving fights with his enemies on his own land and further mysteries implying no end to his woes, Vira finds himself in the trickiest of situations. Before he can go on accomplishing this task, Vira and Ashwin co-operate with Inspector Khare and help him solve a trail of string murders. Yet the daunting task still remains, will Vira find the girl and will she reveal her secret.
