Acer has unveiled three new products at the CES 2019. The new products are – The All-New Swift 7, Predator Triton 900 and The Acer Chromebook 315. The Predator Triton 900 is a gaming notebook convertible, and the Acer Chromebook 315 is the first ever Chromebook from the Acer stable equipped with an AMD processor.

Acer Swift 7

Acer Swift 7, an honoree of the CES 2019 Innovation Award, brings in a lot of exciting features. It comes with ultra-narrow bezels with Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 6 touch display. The screen-to-body ratio at 92% is very impressive. It is powered by Windows 10 and weighs 890 grams hence it is light and easily portable.  It is suited ideally for professionals who can carry the notebook for meetings throughout the day.

The notebook is equipped with the latest 8th Gen Intel ® Core™ processors. It delivers great performance and it can run up to 10 hours of battery life quietly as it comes with a reliable fanless design. As for the connectivity options, it has dual USB Type-C ports that support Thunderbolt™ 3, USB 3.1, DisplayPort 1.2 to connect more devices.

The notebook is available in two colour variants namely Starfield Black and Moonstone White. The notebook will be available in North America in May. It will come with a price tag starting at $1,699 which roughly converts to a little over Rs. 118500.

Predator Triton 900

Acer has also unveiled two of its Windows 10 Gaming notebooks namely the Predator Triton 900 and the Predator Triton 500. The notebooks sport a 15-inch all-metal gaming powerhouse. It measures just 17.9 mm and combines new, functional designs with powerful internals to take gaming desktops from other companies head-on.

Special attention has been given to the Predator Triton 900 due to its one-of-a-kind flipping screen. This feature enables users to enjoy multiple gaming scenarios and better ergonomics. The Triton 500 offers superb gaming performance in a slimmer, all-metal body and empowers gamers on the go.

The notebooks come with the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU which will have breakthrough technologies including real time ray tracing and next-gen, and ultra-fast GDDR6 memory. For a rich gaming experience that gamers desire, the Predator Triton 900 is a great choice.

Users can also expect a PredatorSense mobile app later this year. It will enable users to control the Predator PC from their very own smartphones. Users can control settings for overclocking, fan speeds, lighting, as well as audio modes. It will also enable users to view and set customised macro key sets for physical hotkeys. The Triton 900 also comes with support for Predator RGB Assault, an app for League of Legends gamers. It equips players with pre-defined keyboard lighting effects while they enjoy the gaming experience.

The Predator Triton 900 will be available in North America in March 2019. It will come at a starting price of US$3,999 which roughly converts to around Rs, 2,79,300.

Acer Chromebook 315

Acer has also introduced its first Chromebook that’s powered by AMD A-series processors with Radeon graphics. It is called the Acer Chromebook 315 and it is equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS display and comes with up to 10 hours of all-day battery life for web browsing, office applications and even online gaming.

The Chromebook comes with a clear and vibrant 15.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It can accommodate simultaneous opening of browsers side-by-side, viewing streaming video in sharp detail, and playing web games. Audio is also clear and crisp as it is equipped with two full-sized upward-facing speakers that are placed adjacent to the keyboard. The speakers support high-definition audio and enable the users to enjoy enhanced volume and audio range.

Users can also expect excellent connectivity and portability with the Chromebook. It comes with two USB 3.1 Type-C ports — one on each side — making charging, data transfers and display connections seamless and convenient.

The Chromebook 315 will be available in North America in February. It will come at a starting price of $279.99 which roughly converts to around Rs. 19,400. It will be available in the EMEA region in April starting at $349 which roughly converts to Rs. 24370.
