Acer Launches TravelMate P6 And Spin 3, Aspire Series Of Laptops and Chromebook Series

Acer has launched a set of new laptops which range from its latest TravelMate series, Aspire series, Spin 3 series to the Chromebook series.

The new Acer TravelMate P614-51 will come at a starting price of $ 1,149. The Acer Spin will be available at a price tag of $499, Acer Aspire 7, Aspire 5 and Aspire 3 will be available for purchase at $999, $379 and $349 respectively. The Acer Chromebook 715 and Chromebook 714 will retail at a starting price of $499.

 

Acer TravelMate P6

The Acer TravelMate P615-51 features a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis that gives the laptop a rich look. It comes with a 14-inch Full HD display with 170-degree viewing angle. The laptop is powered by up to 8th Intel Core i7 processors. It is also equipped with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics.

Under the hood, the laptop features up to 24GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. It sports an ultra-responsive touchpad that is safeguarded with Corning Gorilla Glass NBT. As per Acer, the new professional notebook can offer up to 20 hours of battery life. The laptop can be charged up to 50% in just 45 minutes.

The laptop runs Windows 10 Pro OS. Acer TravelMate 6 is Skype for Business certified. It is equipped with a four-mic array that can pick vocals from a distance of up to 6.4 feet away. The laptop is thus ideal for video conferencing.  The body of the laptop is sturdy and rugged and can withstand bumps and shock to a certain extent. This is possible due to MIL-STD 810G, 810F and more.

The TravelMate 6 is empowered with a set of security features such as Windows Hello support along with an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 chip. Due to this, it ensures hardware-based protection for passwords and encryption keys. As for connectivity, the laptop offers seamless connectivity through an optional Acer USB Type-C doc that provides USB 3.1 Type A and Types C, DisplayPort, HDMI, audio in/out options and support for up to three 4K displays.

Acer Spin 3

The Acer Spin 3 is from the convertible notebook series of Acer. It features a 14-inch Full HD touchscreen display. The resolution of the display screen is 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 79 per cent and offers a 360-degree flipping display. The laptop offers its users – Acer Active Pen. It enables on-screen input at multiple points of contact.

The Acer Spin 3 is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor and an option NVIDIA GeForce MX230 GPU. The laptop is backed by up to 512GB PCIe SSD and up to 1TB of HDD storage. It delivers up to 12 hours of battery backup. It runs the Windows 10 operating system. Some interesting features incorporated in this laptop include gesture tracking. Gigabit Dual-band, Wi-Fi 5 with MU-MIMO technology.

Acer Aspire 7, Aspire 5 and Aspire 3

The Acer Aspire 7 features a 15.6-inch Full HD display. It is equipped with Acer TrueHarmony and Acer Color Intelligence. The laptop is powered by up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7 chipset coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. As for its memory and storage, the laptop is backed by up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD coupled with 2TB HDD storage. It supports HDMI, USB 3.1, WiFi 802.11 2×2 AC with MU-MIMO technology as connectivity options.

The Acer Aspire 5 sports similar display as seen in Aspire 7. The laptop is powered by an 8th gen Intel Core i7 chipset along with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. It also comes in another variant which is powered with a 2nd generation AMD Ryzen processor along with Radeon Vega graphics and Radeon RX 540 graphics. The laptop is empowered with a fingerprint reader which enables fast and secure login. The laptop runs Windows 10.

The Acer Aspire comes equipped with up to 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Full HD 1080p resolution displays. The other specifications are similar to that of the Acer Aspire 5.

Acer Chromebook 715 and Chromebook 714

The company has also come up with two new models of the Chromebook. Both the models sport an all-aluminium chassis and military-grade protection. The Chromebooks pack in Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad and integrated fingerprint reader as well for enhanced security. The new Acer Chromebooks are fully compatible with Citrix solutions. This enhances business mobility, networking, and working on cloud platforms.

The Acer Chromebook 715 features a 15.5-inch Full HD display. The Chromebook 714 sports a 14-inch Full HD display. Both the models deliver up to 12 hours of battery backup. The Chromebooks are powered by a range of processors including 8th generation Intel Core i5, Core i3 as well as Intel Celeron and Pentium Gold chipsets. As for the connectivity options, both the Chromebooks come with two USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2.
