The Taiwanese brand has unveiled the upgraded variants of a total 6 laptops in the Indian market. Acer has launched Swift 3 and Swift X under Swift series, Spin 3 and Spin 5 under the Spin series, and Aspire 3 and Aspire 5. Acer has managed to offer a top-notch processor along with high-end Windows 11 and the official version of Microsoft Office 2021.

The latest Windows 11 operating system was launched earlier this year and the roll out has begun starting Oct 5. Let’s dive in through the key specs of the laptops that Acer has unveiled.

Acer Swift series: Key specs & features

Recently, Acer has launched the Swift X laptop under this series. This latest addition to the series sports quite similar specs including backlit keyboard, 14” panel producing FHD resolution, and a fingerprint scanner powered by Windows Hello. At its core, the laptop comes with AMD Ryzen 5600 U chipset paired with 16 gigs of RAM, the onboard storage is a 512GB of solid state drive. Acer is offering an RTX 3050 GPU for graphic-intensive tasks. The battery capacity on this device is a 59Wh unit. At the time of launch, Swift X was booting up on Windows 10, however, the brand is now offering it with Windows 11.

Coming to the Acer Swift 3, there will be two configuration options with Intel Core i5 and AMD Ryzen 5000U chips. The 11th-gen Intel i5 variant will further come equipped with Iris Xe graphics card. The top variants of both the chipsets will come with 16 gigs of memory and 1 TB of onboard storage. Along with fast charging support and Thunderbolt 4, Swift 3 will come equipped with a 14” FHD panel and a metal body. Acer is also offering Wi-Fi 6 on both the machines.

Acer Aspire series: Key specs & features

Like the global variant of Acer Aspire 5 which was unveiled in Oct 2020, the Indian variant packs an identical set of features. The laptop comes in two screen size options; 14” and 15.6”. Both the panels will produce FHD resolution. Acer has also equipped it with its indigenous BlueLightShield tech for better eye health at night and Color Intelligence. The latter will actively adjust the saturation, gamma, and brightness. The advanced hinge is claimed to offer better and much improved airflow. The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and backlit keyboard feature will also be offered here.

At its core, the Intel variants will also come with the Iris Xe GPU and offer up to 1TB of solid state storage and up to 2TB of HD drive. Moving to the Aspire 3, the design language remains identical to the Aspire 5. There will also be a fingerprint sensor present here powered by Windows Hello. The storage option here comes in a hybrid design and packs up to 11th-gen Intel i5 chipset.

Acer Spin series: Key specs & features

It is a convertible lineup and Acer has announced Spin 3 and Spin 5 laptops under this series. The screens are fully touch sensitive and there is also stylus support offered on both the convertibles. Paired with Iris Xe GPU, the top variant will come with 11th-gen Intel Core i7 chip. The processor will get paired with up to 16 gigs of LPDDR4 memory and 1TB of onboard solid state storage. Acer promises to deliver up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Pricing and availability

The base prices for the latest laptop line from Acer will start at ₹86,999 for the Swift X. The Acer Swift 3 will start with a price tag of ₹62,999. The Aspire 3 and Aspire 5’s price will start at ₹55,999 and ₹57,999, respectively. The convertible series’ Spin 3 and Spin 5 will start at ₹74,999 and ₹99,999, respectively. The devices will be available on Flipkart, Acer’s online and exclusive stores, and all the major retail outlets.
