Here are the major announcements for you if you have missed the event.
Podcast Subscription
Apple is always trying to bump up its revenue figures. In another masterstroke attempt, the brand launched a paid podcast subscription service. The service will be live for everyone around 170 countries starting next month. The pricing isn’t determined by Apple as it will be up to the creators and will follow a monthly billing format. However, creators will have the option to also give users an annual package. The Podcast app is also going through a design overhaul.
iPhone 12: Purple color edition
The two variants of the brand’s iPhone 12 lineup will be available in purple color. These variants will be standard iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini. The smartphones will go on sale on April 30 and the pre-order window will open on April 23. There is absolutely no change in the internals or design. The pricing will start at ₹79,990 for iPhone 12 and ₹69,990 for iPhone 12 Mini.
AirTag
AirTag was long anticipated by Apple and the brand has finally introduced it to the public. It’s an accessory that will go with an iPhone. The device looks like a Tile and functions through Apple’s Find My Network app. The tracking is done using a network of iPhones in real time. Apple has implemented this tech to easily find your lost item in no time. The device will be available at a retail price of ₹3,190 and ₹10,990 for the pack of 4 AirTags. The device will hit the stores on April 30. Along with regular AirTags, there will also be a Hermes edition of AirTag and its sleeve.

Not only this, the design has also gone through a significant overhaul, now with ultra-thin build and a range of color options such as green, silver, yellow, red, orange, blue, and purple. The brand claims to reduce the overall volume by 50% and the screen size of this iMac is 24” where the webcam can record up to 1080p. The new iMac will feature a magnetic connector and the base model will go at a retail price of ₹1,19,900. The high-end version will cost ₹139,900. The pre-order window will open on April 30.
